rated episode 27
Attack on Titan (TV 2/2017)
Basilisk (TV)
Saw the beginning, saw the ending; this tragedy is positively operatic in scope.
Masterpiece
Burn The Witch (movie)
So apparently there are going to be something like 3-6 episodes per year? I would rate the 1st 3 at 10/11.
Carole & Tuesday (TV)
    compare/contrast ep.#6 sub/dub
  1. "True Colors"|Great music! 10/11
  2. "Born to Run"
Extra props for using Woolong currency!
  1. "Fire and Rain"| Rating at 11/11 because of:
    1. The music; and
    2. It's relevance to the #me too movement.
  2. "Video Killed the Radio Star"| Their attempt to create a music video ends badly. Woulda' rated it at 10/11 because of the music, but the humor is sick, dude! 11/11
  3. "Every Breath You Take"| The atmosphere of the bar/venue is intimate and amazing! 11/11
  4. "Live Is a Carnival"| The songs and animation are amazing! 11/11
  5. "Show Me the Way"|I was smiling along to the laughter of Tuesday and Carole! 11/11
  6. "All the Young Dudes" |Nice music! 11/11

Plot Summary:
Kokonotsu “Coconuts” Shikada dreams of becoming a famous manga artist. The only problem—he’s terrible. His real talent is selling the complex and delicious snacks in his father’s “dagashi” shop. He never thought much about the family business until the trendy, eccentric Hotaru showed up. As a lover of “dagashi,” she can’t let his talent go to waste and decides she won’t stop ‘til she’s sold him on sweets.

  2. "Loser" presents a mystery from the past.
El Cazador de la Bruja (TV)
Emma: A Victorian Romance (TV)
Flowers of Evil (TV)
Very psychological; a psychological horror.
The manga is strongly recommended. (Sakagami Tomoyo's comment is 2nd below)

Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma (TV)
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (TV)
Fushigi Yugi (TV)

  1. Obviously, a rather limited animation budget.....
  2. The basic setup is set out.
  3. So Tamahome seems to be creating the nucleus of a harem.....
  4. Love triangles.
  5. Taiitsukun tests the two love triangles.
  6. "Even if I Die": Taiitsukun creates an evil version of Miaka.
    • I'm surprised by just how much I'm enjoying the humor in this episode!
    • Miaka and Yui exchange places.
  7. "Brief Parting"
    • The animation budget seems to have taken a hit.....
    • So how does Miaka break into the National Library?! (CON)
    • I'm sorry, but I like my plots to maintain an internal logic; how are things "too calm" when military forces are on the border?! (CON)
  8. "Enemies Unseen"
So exactly how do arrows kill an assassin inside a house?! (CON)
