| One Piece (TV 1999) | Masterpiece | Tied with Kenshin as best of its genre. The East Blue arc that does the stories of each new crew member is the best. Arabast arc is so slow and stretched. Skypiea arc has very good action. Water7 arc has as much angst as East Blue. I've realized that One Piece is the combination of the best of 2 worlds: Sailor Moon and Dragonball. Though the fights are not in arenas (thank god), it's still 1 on 1 fighting. The fights are always creative, and it uses this style of action to carry the theme of friendship that is Sailor Moon. ^_^ Great songs too. |
