It looks like I've triggered an algorithm that has identified me as someone who consistently tries to manipulate the percentages either up or down. Oh, well.....

I try to add enlightening commentary, but let's face it:
I'm far from perfect.

Seen/Read All (public list) Rating
Brothers Conflict (TV) Excellent (dub & sub)
It's a reverse harem ─ check It out.
    • A talking squirrel? But of course.....
    • So right out of the gate it's a reverse harem. Does make sense, though; what with there being only 13 episodes ─ which excludes the two-episode OAV.
  1. "Top─of─the─line males"? Priceless, just priceless!
The squirrel takes up an offer of an alliance.
  2. Wedding.
  3. Finally ─ the Big Kiss.
  4. Now the Basketball Player makes his big move ─ off the court, naturally!
This question has only now just occurred to me: How did the step-mother find time to give birth to 13 sons and have a career?
  1. All right, I'll admit it: the blackout at the 07:07 mark really was quite effective!
Is the talking squirrel meant to emphasize that this is a fantasy? I'm quite curious.....
Is basketball a thing in Japan?
  1. More step-brothers make their move, and then there's a medical emergency.
    • Azu has meningitis.
    • Yet another brother makes a move onto her.....
  2. Ema finds out about her biological parents.
  3. The family takes Ema to the grave site of her biological parents.
  4. Angst over college entrance examinations.
  5. All of the brothers vow to be the one.
I think that it would have been fun if she had set the ground rules and had sexual intercourse with a different brother every night!
Brothers Conflict (OAV) Excellent (dub & sub)
  1. Ski resort on X-mas Eve.
  2. Valentine's Day shenanigans ─ gotta admit, it's unexpectedly humorous!
Btooom! (TV) Weak
Pro: "Aozora" by May'n is nice!
Con: The series is a f---ing commercial for the manga!

Bubblegum Crisis (OAV) Very good (dub), Excellent (sub)
  • depicts strong women characters.
  • OST is quite enjoyable!
  • The dub is hit-and-miss.
Bungaku Shōjo (movie) Good
This movie is based on the 5th book of the "Book Girl" series by Mizuki Nomura. The creative team, however, would have been well advised to use the 1st book of the series instead. See also this page as well.
Bungaku Shōjo Memoir I - Yume-Miru Shōjo no Prelude (OAV) Good
Definitely should be seen by fans of the Book Girl series.
Bungaku Shōjo Memoir II - Sora-Mau Tenshi no Requiem (OAV) Excellent
Definitely should be seen by fans of the Book Girl series.
Bungaku Shōjo Memoir III - Koi Suru Otome no Rhapsody (OAV) Excellent
Definitely should be seen by fans of the Book Girl series.
Bungaku Shōjo: Kyō no Oyatsu - Hatsukoi (OAV) Good
Definitely should be seen by fans of the Book Girl series.
Bunny Drop (TV) Masterpiece

I have rated it thus because I am of "a certain age" where one looks upon children as being endearing....

I find myself objecting a bit to the following from Carl Kimlinger:

One glimpse of its unsparing, compassionate treatment of Rin's highly unpleasant mother is all you need to tell you that this is too complex a series to dabble in Hallmark uplift.
No, Masako Yoshii is not a highly unpleasant mother. If you want to find a highly unpleasant mother, then you need look no further than Akemi Hinazuki. The reason that I object to Kimlinger's characterization is that I have read that that there is a phenomenon where mothers are held to a higher standard (i.e., a double standard) than fathers are, and I find that double standard to be quite objectionable.
Bunny Drop (live-action movie) Excellent
Interesting deviations from the anime.....
Burst Angel (TV) Decent
I rated this at 7/11 because it's main selling point is fan service (i.e., there isn't much of a plot) and I have an issue with Meg's lack of agency.
Calamity of a Zombie Girl (ONA) Good

Having just watched some KyoAni work, anything & everything else just looks like stick figures!

Early on it was demonstrating the standard tropes:
  1. Women dressed sexily; (Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed them all! :p)
  2. "scientist/researcher" wearing a lab coat when not necessary; (To ID what he is, of course!)

  • The action sequences were all quite good ─ as were the graphics.
  • I certainly didn't see the twist coming that involved those siblings! (And that "lipstick"..... Wow.)
  • So a college student walking down a hall while talking on a phone doesn't notice a seriously injured fellow student? Gimme a a friggin' break.....
  • A "shaking camera" to signify a heavy impact? Aw, c'mon.....
  • 4 incidents of Hollywood physics! Oh, puhleeze.....
  • There was no segue from the church scene to the gymnasium.
  • Watch through to the end of the credits. (Whatinhell is that scene supposed to be about?)

At first, I was disappointed with the plot; but then it continuously improved throughout the rest of the movie. Barring a rewatch (which might happen ─ it's only 80 minutes long, after all) I'm rating it at 9/11. After the 1st 20 minutes, I knew that I was never going to rate it at 11/11 and there were too many negatives in it for me to rate it at 10/11. Still, there's no denying its rewatchability.....

    EDITS:
  1. (10/17/2018) How was it that that removing the "life stone" woke up the zombies? Definitely doesn't make sense to me.....
  2. (10/19/2018) Lowering my ranking by one notch to 8/11 from 9/11 because of #1 (above) and also because no explanation is provided as to how the zombies were put to sleep in the first place.
Cannon Fodder (movie) Decent
A part of the Memories anthology. So I have seen it, but that was years ago -- I do remember thinking that it was an art-house movie. If there was an English dub, then I don't remember hearing it.
Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie Decent (dub), Good (sub)
