Yukio Takatsu, Taku Kishimoto and Kazuto Nakazawa Join Azuki & Dentsu's Anime Anthology Series 'Enter The Garden' as Director, Series Composition, and Character Designer for Episode 2

LOS ANGELES, Calif., and TOKYO, October 22, 2024 – Azuki™ today announced the creative team for Episode 2: Fractured Reflections of their three-part anime anthology series, Enter The Garden, led by Creative Producer, Gorō Taniguchi. Renowned director Yukio Takatsu will helm the episode, bringing his unique cinematic vision to the project. This announcement follows the premiere of the “Enter The Garden” anthology series in April, which has garnered over 7 million views across platforms.

Gorō Taniguchi is a celebrated anime creator and director, widely known for Code Geass and One Piece Film: Red. His creative leadership on this project ensures a captivating continuation of Azuki's visually stunning and emotionally resonant narrative.

Joining Taniguchi is YUKIO TAKATSU, a director admired for his work on various anime openings and highly stylized animation projects, including Naruto Shippūden and BAKEMONOGATARI. His directorial prowess promises to bring dynamic and expressive storytelling to Episode 2, enhancing the world of Enter The Garden.

The episode's Series Composition will be handled by TAKU KISHIMOTO, known for his work on HAIKYU!! (2014~2020/Series Composition, Screenplay), and BLUELOCK while KAZUTO NAKAZAWA, the acclaimed character designer behind Samurai Champloo and Kill Bill (Animation Part), will bring the characters of Enter The Garden to life with his signature style.

In Episode 2, “Fractured Reflections,” two sisters, Shao and Raizan, grow up together in the Alley, relying on each other to survive. But one day, Raizan vanishes. Shao searches for her, but years pass with no success. Then, carrying her sister's sword, Shao stumbles upon a mysterious torii gate and enters the unknown world of the Garden.
