Drum Up Fun as Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival Rolls onto New Console and PC this November

Players can Get in the Groove and Prepare for Launch, with Preorders and a Demo of the Game Now Live

IRVINE, Calif. - Aug. 27, 2024Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced that popular rhythm game TAIKO NO TATSUJIN™: RHYTHM FESTIVAL is bringing the beats to PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam® on November 7, 2024. The enhanced version of the game for new-gen platforms will support up to 120 fps, a first for the series on home consoles, along with platform-exclusive collaboration songs and mini characters. Starting today, players can try a demo of the game via first party digital stores and start preparing to become a Taiko master once the game launches. Digital pre-orders are also now available, offering two versions of the game with Standard and The Setlist Edition. Pre-orders for both digital editions include the bonus Namco Game Music pack featuring five tracks from classic games. TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHM FESTIVAL also offers the Taiko Music Pass, a paid music subscription service that expands on the game's included music library with more than 700 additional tracks. TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHM FESTIVAL lets players explore Omiko City, where everyone's favorite Taiko elements come together in one place, guided by Don-chan and Kumo-kyun. The game features 76 songs available in the base game at launch, with top hits like “Gurenge,” “Feel Special,” and “Racing into the Night.” Gameplay includes multiple modes: a Story Mode where players vie to become a Taiko master, online multiplayer battles, and the new Run! Ninja Dojo mode where up to four players compete to overcome a range of obstacles in their path. The game also includes an engaging customization system where players can earn “Don Coins” and trade them in for fun in-game items such as costumes and nameplates that factor into gameplay.

Pre-orders are now available with two editions of the game:

  • The standard game, with the Namco Game Music Pack for pre-orders
  • The Setlist Edition, which also includes the three following DLC, “Pops Collection,” “Anime Songs Collection” and “Vocaloid™ Songs Collection”
