Fantastical Deckbuilding Roguelike 'Fairy Tail: Dungeons' Strikes on Steam Today

TOKYO — August 26, 2024 — FAIRY TAIL: DUNGEONS, the deckbuilding roguelike adventure based on the beloved FAIRY TAIL manga and anime series, developed and published by ginolabo and Kodansha Game Creators' Lab, explores fantastical depths on PC via Steam today.

Venture into the unknown in solo dungeons as one of five iconic FAIRY TAIL guild members and grow ever stronger with new skill cards collected in battles and chests. Strategize attack order to unleash destructive Magic Chains on terrifying foes like minotaurs, cyclops birds and giant orcs. Unlock powerful amulets after surviving or falling in dungeons with earned points to better prepare for future runs.

Carefully plan out the deck and upgrade skills to activate each character's full potential. Call upon celestial spirits as Lucy to deal massive damage, form defensive structures as Gray to increase survivability, and charge fearlessly with Erza's deadly sword.

Band together as an unstoppable trio of characters to test out trained skills in the team dungeon Labyrinth Depths. Discover tomes while progressing to enhance the crew. Brave the deepest floor to confront the freshly designed original boss designed by FAIRY TAIL creator Hiro Mashima. Prevail in the fantastical FAIRY TAIL world thanks to a whimsical soundtrack crafted by Secret of Mana series composer Hiroki Kikuta.

FAIRY TAIL: DUNGEONS marries the beloved FAIRY TAIL setting with classic roguelike elements to create a rich, in-depth adventure,” said gino, the creator of the title. “It's a privilege to bring this first FAIRY TAIL indie title to long-time fans, and we look forward to showing more titles soon!”

FAIRY TAIL: DUNGEONS is now available on PC via Steam for $13.99. It supports English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French and Thai. To learn more, check out the official website, and follow ginolabo and Kodansha Creators' Lab on Twitter.
