Domo catapulted into one of Japan's biggest sensations, sparking more than 100 promotional spots, 600 products and a licensing campaign with merchandise generating tens of millions of dollars in Japan. Earlier this year, Domo made his highly-anticipated U.S. debut with the first wave of licensed products hitting stores nationwide. Leading the charge was master toy partner Play Along with a unique line of plush featuring Domo. A number of additional partners have also released new products into the marketplace including uclick (mobile content), Andrews McMeel (greeting cards and calendars), Changes (apparel), Briefly Stated, Inc. (sleepwear and underwear), mimoco (USB flash drives) and Trends International (wall posters).
In the coming months, Domo is set to make his U.S. television debut on Nicktoons Networks and Nickelodeon International with 26 x 2 minute stop-motion shorts. Big Tent Entertainment will continue to strengthen the licensing program in support of Domo going into 2008 with emphasis on closing deals for additional categories such as interactive games, board games, collectibles, publishing and room décor.
