Autograph boards from Japanese anime/manga/illustration artists offered in silent auction
SACRAMENTO, CA – July 14, 2007 – REGION FREE is pleased to announce that has a number of original shikishi (autographed art boards) up for public auction on its website, www.regionfreejan.com. The works include works by Makiko Kanada (Birth (OAV), Masahiro Kimura (Gungrave, Chobits), Idumi Kimuraya (ANGE L), Akemi Kobayashi (Prétear, Air), Yutaka Minowa (Animatrix, Ninja Scroll), Kazuhiro Soeta (Record of Lodoss War (TV), Osamu Sugimoto (Blue Submarine No. 6), Kōichi Usami (GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka) and Masayoshi Yamakawa ("Ocha Inu" Sanrio TV).
In the past, REGION FREE has held the auction at the San Diego Comic-Con, but since we are unable to attend this year, the silent auction is being held online instead. Please visit the site to view the works and for bidding instructions. The auction will close on Tuesday, July 31.
