Mushi-Production's "Nagasaki Angelus Bell - 1945" will premiere on 12/9
KIDS FOR THE FUTURE ANNOUNCES THE PREMIERE SCREENING OF "NAGASAKI
ANGELUS BELL - 1945" IN NEW YORK
NEW YORK, NY - As one of peace activities, Mushi-Production, Co.,
Ltd. and Non-Profit Organization, KIDS FOR THE FUTURE (501(c3)),
completed a deal on screening "Nagasaki Angelus Bell - 1945" in the US.
The film will premiere on 12/9 (Sat) from 4:30PM at Interborogh
Repertory Theater.
This animated feature film based on a true story of a doctor (Dr.
Tatsuichiro Akizuki), wounded by the blast of the atomic bomb dropped
on Nagasaki, aiding other victims during the immediate aftermath of
the explosion at Urakami First Hospital (the St. Fransisco Hospital),
only 500 meters far from the epicenter of the atomic bomb blast.
Poem reading, directed by Jonathan Fluck and read by Mami Kimura, and
dance performance, choreographed by Miyuki Imaoka will be held on the
same day.
