Muse Asia Licenses I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2 Anime

Muse Asia announced last Friday that it has licensed I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2 (Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita: Sono Ni), the second season of the television anime of Kisetsu Morita's I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level (Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita) light novel series. Muse Asia will announce distribution details at a later date.

The season will premiere in Japan on April 5.

The main cast is returning, but Kunihisa Sugishima (Beyblade franchise, Strike Witches original video anime) is replacing Nobukage Kimura as the director, and the studio Teddy is animating the new season instead of Revoroot. Naohiro Fukushima, an episode scriptwriter in the first season, is supervising the new season's series scripts instead of Tatsuya Takahashi. Hikaru Kodama replaces Keisuke Goto as the character designer. Keiji Inai is returning to compose the music at Nippon Columbia.

Yui Ogura, who will play the new character Sandora in the new season, is performing the opening theme song. Aguri Ōnishi is performing the ending theme song.

The first season premiered in April 2021. Animax Asia aired a simulcast of the anime.

Yen Press is releasing the novel series in North America, and it describes the first novel volume:
