Ani-One Asia announced over the past 10 days that it has licensed the Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-, Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective, Machine Genesis Wataru, and the Headhunted to Another World anime.

Ani-One Asia's stream for Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-, the second season of the Solo Leveling anime, will debut on January 5 at 12:30 a.m. GMT +8. Ani-One Asia describes the anime:

It's been over ten years since gates that lead to another dimension have begun appearing across the world. The battles between the magic beasts inhabiting the dungeons through the gates and the human hunters who have awakened the abilities to fight them show no signs of ending. The low-ranked Sung Jinwoo, known as "The Weakest Hunter of All Mankind," gained the ability to level up through battle during a raid on a double dungeon. Having completed a job-change quest that earned him the job "Shadow Monarch" and command over an army of shadows, Jinwoo heads into battle seeking the ingredients for the Elixir of Life to save his sick mother.

The anime will premiere in Japan on January 4.

LiSA and Felix from South Korean boy band Stray Kids are performing the opening theme song "ReawakeR (feat. Felix of Stray Kids)."

Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-, a compilation film for the Solo Leveling anime's first season and a preview of the first two episodes of the second season screened in Japan from November 29 to December 12. Ani-One Asia screened the film in various Southeast Asian territories earlier this month.

The anime won in the 2024 Astra TV Awards' new "Best Anime Series" category.

The first season of the anime of writer Chugong and the late artist DUBU's (REDICE Studio) Solo Leveling webcomic debuted in Japan last January. Ani-One Asia streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

Tomoko Sudo (Alice in Borderland, Fragtime) designed the characters, and Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist, Kill la Kill, Mobile Suit Gundam UC) composed the music.

The webcomic adaptation of Chugong's Solo Leveling novel series, with illustrations by DUBU, launched on WEBTOON services in March 2018 and ended in December 2021. Yen Press publishes the webcomic and original novel series in English, and several services including Tapas release the web novel and webcomic digitally. Kadokawa publishes the webcomic in Japanese under the title Ore Dake Level-Up na Ken (I'm the Only One Who Has Leveled Up).

The webcomic is also inspiring a Korean live-action adaptation.
