Godzilla Minus One U.K. Home Editions Released on Monday

On Monday December 2, Anime Limited will release Godzilla Minus One, Takashi Yamazaki's 2023 film in TOHO's Godzilla franchise, in multiple formats

The 4K Deluxe Edition (pictured right and left) will include a 68-page booklet and four discs. One of the discs will have the film on 4K UHD Blu-ray; one will have the film on standard Blu-ray; and the third disc will have the film's black-and-white version on Blu-ray, entitled Godzilla Minus One/Minus Colour. (This black-and-white version will be exclusive to the Deluxe Edition.).

The fourth disc will be a bonus Blu-ray discs with special features, all English-subtitled. These include a "making of" feature, a "making of VFX" featurette, a behind-the-scenes program, plus event footage and trailers.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray (pictured right) will have the film in 4K via a Dolby Vision HDR presentation, with audio in Dolby Atmos for the Japanese audio and 5.1 audio for the English dub. The Blu-ray editions of the film (including the Godzilla Minus One/Minus Colour Blu-ray) will also have Dolby Atmos Japanese audio and 5.1 English audio.

The Steelbook Blu-ray edition will have three discs: one with the film on 4K UHD Blu-ray, one with the film on standard Blu-ray, and the bonus Blu-ray disc.

The standard Blu-ray and DVD editions will contain a single disc with the film, with the same audio specifications as above.

Godzilla Minus One (the colour version) opened in Japan on November 3, 2023 ("Godzilla Day"), which was the anniversary of the first Godzilla.

Crunchyroll will release a Blu-ray box-set of the series Dragon Ball Super, carrying the 131 episodes of the series.

Crunchyroll will also a release a Blu-ray box-set of the series Dragon Ball Z, carrying the 291 episodes of the series.

Crunchyroll will release the feature film Psycho-Pass Providence as a DVD, a Blu-ray, and a Limited Blu-ray. The Limited edition (pictured) will include a 60-page art book. Sony Pictures and Crunchyroll describe the film:

January 2118. Chief Inspector of the Criminal Investigation Department, Akane Tsunemori, receives a report of an incident on a foreign vessel – the body of Professor Milicia Stronskaya has been discovered. Behind the incident is a group known as the Peacebreakers, a foreign paramilitary organization and a new outside threat who are targeting the professor's research papers known as the “Stronskaya Document.” Reunited with Shinya Kogami, a former fugitive from the Criminal Investigation Department, Akane grapples with a case that quickly escalates beyond their expectations. The Stronskaya Papers could reveal a truth that would shake Japan's government, and even the Sibyl System, to the core. It is in this untold story that the missing link is revealed.

Naoyoshi Shiotani returned to direct at Production I.G, and TOHO distributed. Series writer Makoto Fukami was back as scriptwriter alongside Tow Ubukata, who joined the franchise in Psycho-Pass 2. Ubukata is also credited for the film's composition. Naoyuki Onda also returned as character designer and chief animation director.The film is based on the original Psycho-Pass anime by Gen Urobuchi. Ling Tosite Sigure perform the film's theme song "Alexithymia Spare," while EGOIST perform the film's ending theme song "Tōjisha" (The One Concerned).

On Monday December 2, Anime Limited will release the second Blu-ray volume of the original Naruto series, carrying episodes 28 to 55 of the series. The volume is described as follows:

"As the Chunin Exams rage on, the battle in the Forest of Death reveals some extraordinary foes like Orochimaru and Gaara and pushes some of the genin beyond their limits. Then it's time for one-on-one battles amongst the contestants that made it all the way to the Tower with the correct scrolls. Extra training for Naruto introduces him to his lifelong mentor Jiraiya."
