Netflix Lists Dragon Ball Daima Anime, Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Animation in India

The company began streaming the second season of the anime of Akira Amano's Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective (Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri) manga on Monday.
Crunchyroll will stream Dragon Ball Daima in India on October 11, the same day the anime premieres in Japan.
The anime will premiere on a new anime programming block on Fuji TV on Fridays at 11:40 p.m. (10:40 a.m. EDT) starting on October 11. The first episode will have a runtime 10 minutes longer than normal.
Dragon Ball Daima had its world premiere at a special "Dragon Ball Daimatsuri" (with "Daimatsuri" combining the words "Daima" and matsuri, which means festival) event on October 6 at Tokyo Big Sight.
Yoshitaka Yashima (animation director on Dragon Ball Super, Digimon franchise) and Aya Komaki (One Piece series director, episode director on Marie & Gali) are serving as series directors, Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (Dragon Ball Z, Digimon franchise) is adapting the late Akira Toriyama's character designs for animation, and Yuuko Kakihara (Digimon Adventure tri. films, 2022 Urusei Yatsura, Cells at Work!) is supervising and writing the series scripts. Franchise creator Akira Toriyama is credited for the new anime's story and character designs.
In the series, Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and other characters throughout the series become younger than usual. However, this is different from a similar plotline in the Dragon Ball GT anime, in which Goku reverts back into a kid after the end of the original series. Although the title "Daima" does not mean anything, the kanji could be interpreted as "Evil" in English.
The Dragon Ball Super television anime series premiered in July 2015 and aired for 131 episodes until March 2018. Cartoon Network India aired the anime in May 2022. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the second anime film in the Dragon Ball Super franchise, opened in India in August 2022.
The story centers on Iria Sorari, and the mecha include the Zeon mobile suit Zaku II and the Federation mobile suit Gundam.
The staff at Sunrise and Safe House are producing the animation entirely with Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5. Gavin Hignight (Tekken: Bloodline, Transformers: Cyberverse, Star Wars: Resistance, Marvel's Spider-Man game) is writing, and German artist Erasmus Brosdau (Origin Zero, Warhammer 40,000's "The Lord Inquisitor: Seed of Ambition") is directing the project. Naohiro Ogata (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt) and Hignight are serving as executive producers, and Hiroaki Yura is producing.
Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura is the main character designer, and Kimitoshi Yamane (Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, multiple Gundam projects) is the mechanical design supervisor. Wilbert Roget II (Mortal Kombat 11, Call of Duty: WWII, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris games) is composing the music.
Australian actress Celia Massingham (DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Ladies in Black) voices the lead character and performs the motion-capture for animation.
