In a long string of losing legends, now we've lost the original Doraemon.
RIP Nobuyo Oyama. Thank you for all the wonderful characters you portrayed and for how much you brightened up the world with your colorful voices. |

Her voice acting as Doraemon is iconic, and her passing is similar to original Indonesian voice actors (before replacing to current) to Doraemon (since I really know Doraemon for this language rather than Nobuyo-sensei), who also passed away 2 years ago.
I send my deepest condolences to her families. RIP. Thank you for bringing Doraemon to life for us when we were children. |

It finally happened. Oyama is no longer with us. I remember the dementia news like it was last month. Then TARAKO taking over the role of Monokuma in DR. Speaking of TARAKO, she passed away earlier this year so its crazy that Oyama passes away after her Monokuma successor. Just another sad year for DR and Doraemon. Thank you for impacting the lives of so many and contributing to the industry. I hope your family and remaining friends can get through this.
