This year's December issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Beam magazine revealed on Friday that Ebine Yamaji (Love My Life) will launch a new short manga serialization titled Onna no Ko ga Iru Basho wa (The Place Where the Girls Are). The manga will be a series of short stories about 10-year-old girls from various countries - such as Saudi Arabia, Morocco, India, and Japan - with different religions, cultures, and values. Yamaji will launch the manga in the magazine's next issue on December 10.
Yamaji launched the Mizuumi (Lake) manga in Monthly Comic Beam in January 2018.
Yamaji launched the Red Thimble manga (pictured at right) in Comic Beam in March 2015, and ended the three-volume series in May 2017.
JManga once licensed and released Yamaji's Love My Life yuri manga in North America. A live-action film adaptation of the manga premiered in 2006.
Update on March 11, 2022: The manga will not appear in the May 2022 issue, and will end in the June 2022 issue, which will ship in May. Source: Monthly Comic Beam April 2022 issue
