Ore ga Suki nano wa Imōto dakedo Imōto ja nai Anime's Video Reveals Theme Song Artists

Purely Monster, Junjō no Afilia perform theme songs for October anime

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Seiji Ebisu's Ore ga Suki nano wa Imōto dakedo Imōto ja nai (The One I Love is My Little Sister But She's Not a Little Sister) light novel series began streaming a promotional video for the anime on Wednesday. The video reveals the anime's theme song artists.

Purely Monster (A Centaur's Life) is performing the anime's opening theme song, and Junjō no Afilia (My First Girlfriend is a Gal) is performing the ending theme song.

The main cast includes:

Tasuku Hatanaka as Yū Nagami

Reina Kondo as Suzuka Nagami

The anime will premiere in October.

Hiroyuki Furukawa (My First Girlfriend is a Gal, My Wife is the Student Council President director and character designer, Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia director) is directing the series and adapting Gintarō's character designs for animation. NAZ and new studio Magia Doraglier are producing the series. Furukawa announced in September 2017 that he had established the new studio.

Yūichirō Momose (My First Girlfriend is a Gal) is in charge of series composition. Masakazu Miyake (Girls' Last Tour) is the art director. Kumiko Yanagisawa (Konohana Kitan) is the color designer. Kisuke Koizumi (Parasyte -the maxim-) is the sound director. Yashikin (My First Girlfriend is a Gal) is composing the music.

The "awkward sibling romantic comedy" series centers around the younger sister Suzuka Nagami and the older brother Yū Nagami. Suzuka is a beautiful third-year middle school student who has excellent grades and is the student council president. She wrote a novel about a little sister who dotes on her older brother, and the novel wins a light novel award. After they discuss the matter, Yū is the one who debuts as a proxy light novel author instead of Suzuka, under the pen name Chikai Towano.

Ebisu launched the light novel series with illustrator Gintarō in 2016, and Kadokawa published the sixth novel on April 20. Kō Narita launched an ongoing manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Dragon Age magazine in December.
