The July issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics revealed on Thursday that the Mysterious Joker (Kaitō Joker) and Pokémon Horizon manga will both end in the magazine's next issue in July. The issue additionally published the final chapter of the Puzzle & Dragons X manga on Thursday.
Mysterious Joker launched in Shogakukan's Bessatsu Coro Coro Comic magazine in 2007, although it then moved to the main Coro Coro Comics magazine in 2008. Hideyasu Takahashi draws the series. Shogakukan published the manga's 25th compiled book volume on March 28.
The manga has inspired four television anime, all of which Crunchyroll streamed with the title Joker as they aired in Japan. The latest season premiered last October.
Pokémon Horizon launched in the magazine last September. Tenya Yabuno (Inazuma Eleven, Digimon V-Tamer) is drawing the series. The manga is based on the Pokémon Sun & Moon games and centers on a Pokémon trainer named Akira, and his partner Rockruff.
Shogakukan published the manga's first compiled book volume on February 28.
Puzzle & Dragons X is based on the Nintendo 3DS game of the same name, and it launched in the magazine in April 2016. Momota Inoue (Puzzle and Dragons Z) drew the series. Shogakukan will publish the manga's third volume on July 28.
The game also received a television anime adaptation, which premiered in Japan last July. Funimation and Crunchyroll both streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The anime's second season premiered on April 3.
