2nd Pro Wrestler Plays Himself in Tiger Mask W

The official website for Tiger Mask W (pronounced "Double"), Toei Animation's ongoing new anime based on Ikki Kajiwara and Naoki Tsuji's Tiger Mask manga, announced on Thursday that professional wrestler Kōta Ibushi will voice an animated version of himself in the show. He will appear in the 37th episode on June 24.
Ibushi has wrestled multiple times as Tiger Mask W since the anime's premiere.
While many characters in the series are based on real-life pro wrestlers, Ibushi is only the second professional wrestler to voice himself after Tōgi Makabe (pictured below).
The anime premiered in October and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan. The 38th and final episode will premiere on July 1.
