Ultra Street Fighter II Game's Trailer Previews Different Game Modes
posted on by Rai Kelly
CAPCOM began streaming a new trailer for its Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers Nintendo Switch game on Monday. The trailer previews the game's features, including a "classic style" mode, a "local battle" mode, an "internet battle" mode, a "buddy battle" mode, and a "Way of the Hado" mode. The video also shows the new character customization system.
CAPCOM is also streaming a soundtrack sampler for the game, previewing the music themes for each character in both their classic and "new generation" renditions.
The game will launch worldwide on May 26. The game is part of CAPCOM's Street Fighter series' 30th anniversary celebration.
Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will include 19 characters, including two new characters: Evil Ryu and Violent Ken. Players can play the game in the Switch's TV mode, table mode, or handheld mode.
Players can choose to play the game from two different graphics: the "new generation" graphics using the character sprites drawn by Udon Entertainment artists that originally appeared in 2008's Super Street Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix, or the "classic generation" graphics using the pixel art style of the original 1991 Street Fighter II: The World Warrior game.
