The game's characters include:
Yūki Takada as Hinako Shirai, the protagonist. A year before the game starts, she was supposed to compete in a ballet competition overseas, but due to suffering a sudden foot injury, she dropped out. Ever since then, she has grown reticent and distant, but is determined to not let her decade-long ballet practice go to waste.
Marika Kōno as Yuzuki Shijō, one of the mysterious girls who gives Hinako the power to be a Reflector. She transfers into Hinako's school a few days after she and Hinako meet. She has a cheerful sense of humor that favors sudden jokes, and a personality that makes everyone like her. Although she has only just met Hinako, Hinako is first in her mind.
Sawako Hata as Raimu Shijō, one of the mysterious girls who gives Hinako the power to be a Reflector. She is Yuzuki's sister and is in the same grade level as her in school. Her way of thinking prizes efficiency above all else, and she prioritizes her own feelings above those of others. Nevertheless, like her sister, she treasures Hinako.
Mikako Komatsu as Shihori Sugamoto, a sexy young lady who has a unique atmosphere. She is beautiful and stylish, and men often come to help her, so she doesn't really experience many hardships. She has many male friends and is often seen leaving school with one of them, but to her, they are all equally just friends.
Ayako Suwa as Chihiro Inoue, a mysterious girl whose thoughts nobody can guess. Her classmates think she is a bit weird for doing things like decorating the classroom with strange stuffed toys, but she does it out of consideration for other people. She is very considerate, but her efforts to communicate that to other people often come to nothing. She is a little troublemaker with no ill will.
Yumi Uchiyama as Mao Ninagawa, a celebrity who has worked as an actor since childhood. Although things have calmed down for her since her heyday as a child actor, she still gets work. She is no leader, but she is nevertheless polite, and what other people think is constantly on her mind.
Sayaka Senbongi as Sanae Nishida, a girl who came from the same middle school as Hinako. She knows everything about Hinako from middle school, and even now continues to worry about her. She has a kind heart, and admires Hinako. She is a member of the cooking club, where she displays her fairly good cooking skills. She likes rap, and is prone to singing some to herself.
Ai Kakuma as Sarasa Morikawa, a ballet dancer with whom Hinako has crossed paths with in competition more than one time in middle school. She is considered a genius of dance and ballet, having studied and excels at many forms of dance. Ever since Hinako was forced to retire due to her injury, she is considered the top among her generation. While she considers Hinako a rival and treats her as such, she is in reality a highly sociable person, and friendly to everyone.
Ayane Sakura as Yuri Saiki, a girl gifted with excellent intellect. She has a high IQ score, but consciously pretends to be normal, and everyone in school judges her as just a bright student. She has been brought up to prize intelligence above emotion, and so she has been unable to express herself well, or to read people's emotions.
Yumiri Hanamori as Ako Ichinose, a girl who dreams of being rich, and has an eye for profit. She often throws situations into chaos due to her profit motivation, but she has a charm that endears her to people. She is a member of the broadcast club, and wants to be a journalist when she grows up.
Haruka Itou as Rin Sanada, a talented tennis player and member of the tennis club. She takes a while to make decisions, but once she commits to one, she commits wholeheartedly. She has a crush on a boy from another school. She likes walking around town, and on free days, she tries out various restaurants.
Sora Tokui as Kei Narimiya, a natural big-sister, and one famous for her dependability. She is the type of person who can't leave well enough alone, but she sometimes slips up and solves a situation slightly over or under expectations.
Nao Shiraki as Fumio Taya, an honor student with perfect pitch. She was raised by her strict grandmother and has studied piano since she was little. She has a bad habit of saying exactly what comes to mind.
Ayaka Shimizu as Kaori Mitsui, a girl who likes playing smartphone games and looking at message boards on blogs. By her showy appearance one would assume she is a delinquent, but she is actually a serious student. She was in the same athletics club as Rika in middle school, but she has since quit.
Ai Kayano as Rika Yoshimura, a member of the athletics club — previously the same club as Kaori in middle school. She is not very fast, but she loves running and setting records. She is sensitive to world news and knows the latest fashion and music trends.
The game will be a "heroic RPG" set at Hoshinomiya Girls High School in modern day Japan, with themes of communication and connections between people. The story begins when Hinako meets Yuzuki and Raimu, who give her the power to transform into a magical girl known as a Reflector. In this form, she can move freely, and fights to achieve her dream of one day healing her foot injury so she can practice ballet again. In the Reflector form, Hinako gains blonde hair and heterochromatic eyes. Without knowing the reason why Yuzuki and Raimu ask her to fight, or whom she is fighting, Hinako takes on the task of being a magical girl for her one wish. However, as the game progresses, Hinako will begin to question the purpose of her battles and what she is fighting.
