Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 Video Shows Copen, Summer 2016 Release

Original game is discounted on Virtual Console until June 1
Nintendo unveiled a new trailer for Inti Creates' Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 Nintendo 3DS sequel game during its Nintendo Direct presentation on Thursday. The trailer reveals the new playable character Copen, and the game's summer 2016 release date.
The character Copen can perform air dashes, and can close in on enemies to lock on to them. His shots will then home in to the locked on enemy. Copen can also use the abilities of the game's bosses once defeated.
Nintendo also announced on Thursday that the original Azure Striker Gunvolt game will be discounted on its eShop until June 1.
Inti Creates developed the first game with concepts by Keiji Inafune of Mega Man/Rockman fame, and released the game in Japan and North America in August 2014.
