Viz's Shonen Jump Adds Yūki Tabata's Black Clover Fantasy Manga to Regular Line-Up
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
This week's issue of Viz Media's Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine announced on Monday that it will begin serializing Yūki Tabata's Black Clover manga beginning in next week's issue. Chapter four will run in next week's issue and Viz will release subsequent chapters quickly to catch up to the Japanese release.
Tabata (Hungry Joker) launched the series that "takes us on an Enchanted Journey into a world of magic and fantasy" in Japan on February 16.
Viz Media published the first three chapters earlier this year as part of its "Jump Start" initiative. The magazine launched the initiative in North America last September. Under this initiative, Viz's digital English version of Weekly Shonen Jump will run the first three chapters of "almost every single" new series that debuts in Shueisha's original Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan.
