Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Gets Over 2 Million Accounts

The number of registered accounts for the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn massive multiplayer online game has surpassed two million. That figure includes registered users from all regions including Japan, North America, and Europe. The game launched for PlayStation 4 on Wednesday and for Windows PC and PS3 on August 27 of last year.
The game had over 1.5 million accounts as of October last year.
Square Enix released Final Fantasy XIV Online for personal computers in September 2010. After criticism from fans, the company revealed an updated version of the game titled Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn that adds a new world and story.
