Anime Limited will release Makoto Shinkai's The Garden of Words (pictured) on DVD and Blu-ray on February 10. The film will come with the following extras: two commentaries, one with Shinkai in Japanese (subtitled) and one with the dub cast in English; 52 minutes of interviews with Shinkai and the Japanese cast; the whole film in storyboard format; stills from the English dub production; the Japanese trailer; and trailers for Shinkai's other works.
The Garden of Words opened in Japan in May 2013, running approximately 46 minutes. It follows the story of shoemaker-in-training Takao, who begins sketching shoes in a Japanese-style garden. He meets a mysterious older woman and the two start meeting and deepening their relationship.
MVM is releasing the television anime adaptation of Maybe's Dusk maiden of Amnesia (Tasogare Otome×Amnesia) manga. The story is set at an academy that has a history of hauntings by spirits, including a ghost girl named Yūko. For some reason, first-year middle school student Teiichi Niiya can see Yūko, who has no memory of her death, or who or what caused it. Yūko and Teiichi create an investigation club to find the truth about her death and the other mysteries of the school. The studio SILVER LINK (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts) animated the series.
Finally, Manga Entertainment is releasing the "Complete Season 4" of Naruto Shippūden. This eight-disc set carries 154 to 205 of the series.
