A promotional bookend display for Keiichi Arawi's Nichijō manga announced that the series has 3.7 million copies in print. The ninth volume went on sale on Tuesday.
The manga revolves around a group of female students living what would be a normal high school life, except that it also includes a talking cat, a robot, deer-wrestling, and other strange anomalies. Crunchyroll streamed Kyoto Animation's television adaptation outside Japan as it aired in 2011.
Bandai Entertainment licensed the original manga and anime adaptation but cancelled the North American release when it stopped offering new DVD, Blu-ray Disc, and manga releases last year.
