Funimation to Stream High School DxD New

North American anime distributor Funimation announced on Thursday that it has acquired the streaming rights for High School DxD New. Funimation also announced the streaming schedules for Brothers Conflict and Danganronpa The Animation.
High School DxD New, the second season of the High School DxD anime, begins with the Gekkō Kōtei no Excalibur story from the third volume of Ichiei Ishibumi's original light novel series. The story centers around the shattered and reforged Excalibur swords that were stolen from the Vatican, including some that have been taken to Issei's town.
The main cast and staff are returning for the second season. Risa Taneda (From the New World's Saki, Oreshura's Kaoru, Say, "I Love You".'s Asami) joins the cast as the beautiful blue-haired sword fighter Xenovia dispatched by the Vatican. Maaya Uchida (Yuruyuri's Mari, Vividred Operation's Rei) plays Irina Shidō, the girl who joins Xenovia in the hunt for the stolen Excalibur swords. Haruka Yamazaki (Hayate the Combat Butler's Ruka, Vividred Operation's Mizuha) plays Aika Kiriyū.
The first season premiered in Japan last year, and Funimation licensed that season in North America for streaming and home video.
High School DxD New premiered in Japan on July 7. Funimation will stream the first episode on July 14 at 7:00 p.m. CDT. The following two episodes will launch on July 21, effectively bringing the streams up-to-date with Japan's broadcast.
Funimation will launch its stream of Danganronpa: The Animation on July 12 at 4:00 p.m. CDT, with episodes debuting each Friday. The first three episodes of Brothers Conflict will launch on July 16 at 11:00 p.m. CDT, with new episodes added on Tuesdays. The first episode of Hyperdimension Neptunia will launch on July 12 at 8:30 p.m. CDT, and episodes will continue to debut on Fridays.
