2014 Doraemon Film's 1st Trailer Previews Canine Adventure

The official YouTube channel for the Doraemon film series began streaming a trailer on Friday for the upcoming film Eiga Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Daimakyō - Peko to 5-nin no Tankentai (Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita's Great Demon ~Peko and the Exploration Party of Five~), which is slated for Japan's traditional spring break next March. The new film is a remake of the 1982 film Doraemon: Nobita's Great Demon, which was written by original Doraemon co-creator Fujiko F. Fujio. (This year would have been the late creator's 80th birthday.)
Shinnosuke Yakuwa is directing the remake, and Higashi Shimizu wrote the screenplay. The story follows the heroes of the Doraemon television series who must go on an adventure to help a dog prince return to his kingdom, deep within an unexplored land.
