The World God Only Knows' New OVA Slated for June 18

The new original video anime for The World God Only Knows manga will be bundled with the 22nd manga volume in the June 18 timeframe. According to the announcement in this year's 15th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, the anime will recount an original story that is not from the manga version. The 21st manga volume will ship in the April 18 timeframe.
In addition to Tamiki Wakaki's original manga, the magazine is running a 3-chapter Magical Star Kanon 100% spinoff that reimagines the idol Kanon Nakagawa as a magical girl. The magazine had announced that the spinoff original video anime will center around Kanon, while a third anime season has also been green-lit.
