Mitsudomoe's Sakurai Draws Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku/Super Radical Gag Family Crossover

This year's 10th issue of Shōnen Champion (Akita Shoten) commemorates the 20th anniversary of Kenji Hamaoka's Ganso! Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku (Super Radical Gag Family) manga by publishing an extra all-color crossover with Norio Sakurai's Mitsudomoe series. The manga extra has a boy from Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku in Mitsudomoe's Kamohashi Elementary School setting. The final pages of the bound extra also feature Sakurai's illustrations of the women of Ganso! Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku, as well as his celebratory comments on how Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku was the trigger for his decision to become a manga artist.
In addition to the feature, Shōnen Champion's Masahiro Abe (Shinryaku! Ika Musume/Squid Girl), Masakazu Ishiguro (Mokuyōbi no Furutto/Thursday's Furutto), and Eiji Kugai (Iki-iki Gonbo/Lively Gonbo) have added their own commemorative illustrations as well as articles about the last 20 years.
