Japan's Animation DVD Ranking, December 24-30

The live-action film adaptation of the Rurouni Kenshin manga sold 21,159 standard-edition copies to rank at #3 on the overall DVD chart. The deluxe edition sold 14,343 copies at #7. The DVD for "Sakura Nagashi," Hikaru Utada's theme song for the Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo (Evangelion Shin Gekijō-ban Q) anime film, sold 20,681 copies to debut at #4.
The special edition of the live-action film adaptation of the Helter Skelter manga sold 8,973 more copies to add to its total of 26,928. It dropped from #5 to #11 in its second week. The ninth Game Center CX DVD box also sold 6,919 more copies for a new total of 30,646. It dropped from #4 to #15 in its second week.
The AKB48 in Tokyo Dome ~1830m no Yume~ Single Collection sold 3,450 more copies to add to its total of 24,324. It fell from #25 to #29. The Special Box version sold 2,360 more copies and now has a total of 67,791 at #43. The live-action film adaptation of the Space Brothers manga added 2,490 to its total of 7,288. It dropped from #21 to #41 in it second week.
