KyoAni Streams Tamako Market Anime's Comiket Promo

Kyoto Animation began streaming the newest promotional video for Tamako Market, the upcoming television anime from the main staff of K-ON!, just before midnight on New Year's Eve. The same video had debuted at the Comic Market (Comiket) 83 event in Tokyo this past weekend.
The website also posted a map of the Usagiyama Shopping District and a handwritten New Year's greeting from character designer Yukiko Horiguchi.
The staff already revealed that Aya Suzaki (Bakuman., Manyū Hiken-chō, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness) will play the title heroine Tamako Kitashirakawa, a high-school freshman who is cheerful, spirited, and kind to others. She is the mochi-loving daughter of a mochi shopkeeper in the shopping district and a baton club member.
Naoko Yamada (K-ON!) is directing, and Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!, Bakuman.) is in charge of the series scripts. Another K-ON! veteran, Horiguchi (Lucky Star), is designing the characters.
The anime will premiere on January 9 on the Tokyo MX TV station. It will also run on the Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, BS11 Digital, and BS Animax channels.
