Saki's National Tournament Arc Gets TV Anime (Update 2)

The official Twitter account for the Saki anime franchise announced on Sunday that a television anime adaptation of the National Tournament arc has been green-lit. More information on the Saki Zenkoku-hen anime will be revealed in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine, Shonen Gangan magazine, and the anime's official website. The promotional video that made the announcement was added to the site on Sunday:
The video also announced that the Saki Episode of Side A's special episodes 13 and onward will premiere on the AT-X channel.

Update 2: Director Manabu Ono, assistant director Kenji Setō, head scriptwriter Tatsuhiko Urahata, and character designer/chief animation director Masakatsu Sasaki are all returning from the first two Saki television anime series. Studio Gokumi is animating the upcoming anime as it did for Saki Episode of Side A.
Crunchyroll streamed the two previous anime series into several countries as they aired in Japan.
