All You Need is Kill Film Slated for March 14, 2014

Warner Bros. has slated its upcoming live-action film adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka's Japanese prose novel All You Need Is Kill for a March 14, 2014 release. Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, and Charlotte Riley are already slated to star in the film.

Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. and Mrs. Smith) is directing. The film is set to begin production in London's Leavesden Studios on Monday.

Viz Media published Sakurazaka's novel in English to launch its Haikasoru imprint for Japanese science fiction and fantasy in 2009. The book's cover art was drawn by Yoshitoshi ABe (Serial Experiments Lain, Haibane Renmei).
