posted on by Egan Loo
The Mayonaka TV teaser website for the Persona 4 The Animation project began streaming a new promotional video on Saturday. Director Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, My Bride is a Mermaid) and the anime studio AIC ASTA are adapting the Persona 4 role-playing game from Atlus into a television series. Persona concept designer Kazuma Kaneko, original character designer Shigenori Soejima, musical composer Shoji Meguro, and the main cast of Daisuke Namikawa (Yu Narukami), Showtaro Morikubo (Yōsuke Hanamura), Yui Horie (Chie Satōnaka), and Ami Koshimizu (Yukiko Amagi) are reprising their respective roles from the game for the anime.
Shogakukan's Club Sunday manga site is posting the first chapter of Mitsuru Adachi's Asaoka Kōkō Yakyū-Bu Nisshi - Over Fence (Asaoka High School Baseball Team Journal - Over Fence) comedy manga for free until July 14. (In the linked page, select the black "読む" button.) In the story, the female manager of a high school baseball club deals with the hijinks of the troublemakers on the team.
The irregularly serialized manga launched in this year's combined 21st/22nd issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine in April. Adachi is best known for coming-of-age sports manga such as Touch and Cross Game.
