Crunchyroll to Simulcast Gosick Mystery Horror Anime

The media-distribution website Crunchyroll has confirmed on its website that it will begin simulcasting the television anime series Gosick on Friday at 1:00 p.m. EST. The series will be available in North and South America, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, the Middle East, Africa, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brazil, and Portugal. It will also be available for subscription-based streaming in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
According to Crunchyroll's press release, the series will be 24 episodes long, and will only be available to subscribers in the United Kingdom and Ireland until June 30, 2011 due to licensing restrictions.
Gosick is an adaptation of Kazuki Sakuraba's novel series of the same name. The story revolves around a young Japanese boy named Kazuya Kujo who lives in a fictional European town in 1924. He attends the Saint Marguerite Academy, where he meets a brilliant young woman named Victorica, who skips class in order to read books.
