Evangelion Chronicle Magazine to Re-Launch in January
posted on by Egan Loo
The publisher DeAgostini has announced on Thursday that it will re-launch the Evangelion Chronicle magazine on January 19. The official magazine will cover the different aspects of Gainax and Khara's science-fiction anime franchise in 40 weekly issues.
Like the previous incarnation of the magazine, each new issue's 32 all-color pages will be split into different sections: mechanic, character, timeline, tactics, installation (a guide to locales), technology, and extra. The first issue will ship with an exclusive binder, and two more binders will be sold as a set. (The fourth and final binder will be bundled with the 31st issue.) People who collect all 40 issues can mail away for an original Rei Ayanami figure. Two illustrated clear file folders will also be offered on the official website.
Evangelion Chronicle was previously published by another publisher, Sony Magazines. DeAgostini is publishing or will publish the Weekly Space Battleship Yamato Official Fact File, the Weekly Kamen Rider Official Data File, the Biweekly Science Ninja Team Gatchaman DVD Collection, and the Biweekly World Masterpiece Theater DVD Selection.
