USA Today Booklist, July 6-12

The latest Naruto volume and the final Fruits Basket volume land on the USA Today newspaper's list of the top 150 bestselling books from July 6 to July 12. Until now, no Japanese manga had appeared on the list since the last Naruto volumes in Viz's Generation Ninja campaign left the chart at the end of April.
Fruits Basket volume 23 is the final volume in Natsuki Takaya's popular shōjo manga series. It had already appeared The New York Times newspaper's manga best seller list at #2, below Naruto volume 45. Fruits Basket's second-to-last volume entered USA Today's chart back in March and left after two weeks. Fruits Basket currently holds the record for the highest spot ever achieved by a manga volume on the list; sales in April of 2007 put volume 16 in the #15 spot.
