Japanese Animation DVD Ranking, June 8-14

The DVD-Box for the live-action television drama adaptation of Riko Miyagi's Mei-chan no Shitsuji (Mei-chan's Butler) shōjo manga sold 11,170 copies to debut at #2. The director's cut edition of the Kamen Rider Kiva: Makaijou no Ou film also debuted at #12 with 3,193 copies, while the 11th volume of the Kamen Rider Kiva television series debuted at #30 with 1,744 copies. The sixth volume of the live-action special-effects series Ultra Seven sold 2,601 copies in its first week at #18. Document of Rookies ~Sotsugyō, the documentary for the live-action feature film based on Masanori Morita's Rookies manga, sold 1,928 more copies to add to its total of 26,231. The DVD dropped from #20 to #26.
