Game-Based Sengoku Basara Anime's New TV Ad Streamed

The official website for the anime adaptation of CAPCOM's Sengoku Basara (Devil Kings) action-adventure game franchise began streaming a new television commercial on Monday. (In the linked page, select the "Movie" button on the bottom, and then select "Spot Part1.") CAPCOM confirmed in October that Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers) and director Itsurō Kawasaki (Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE The Movie: Princess of the Birdcage Kingdom, Yumedamaya Kidan) are adapting its game into a television anime series. Kazuya Nakai, Sōichirō Hoshi, and Norio Wakamoto will reprise their game roles as the Warring States Period figures Date Masamune, Sanada Yukimura, and Oda Nobunaga, respectively. The series will premiere in Japan in April.
