Basquash Robot Sports Anime Promo Movie Page Launched

The official Japanese website for the the Basquash! robot sports anime series has launched a special page for all the promotional movies that have been released so far. In all, 10 movies have been made public. Shōji Kawamori (Macross, Escaflowne, Aquarion) is collaborating with France's Thomas Romain (Oban Star-Racers) in this Satelight project that combines robots with basketball. Kawamori is developing this project as a deliberately lighthearted counterbalance to the more serious work he has done. Romain developed the conceptual designs for the mecha and the art direction. The series will premiere on Japan's MBS television station and its affiliates in April.
