Toei, Frogman Launch Keihin Kazoku Flash Anime

The veteran studio Toei Animation is collaborating with the creator Frogman of Kaeruotoko Shokai (Eagle Talon The Movie - The Chancellor Only Lives Twice, Pyu to Fuku! Jaguar ~Ima, Fuki ni Yukimasu~) on a Flash-animated mobile phone and television series called Keihin Kazoku (The Story of a Keihin Family). The animated shorts center around the Keihin Grand Sorenāze apartment complex's tenants, who are normal-looking at first glance, but cause all sorts of trouble every day. (Keihin is the Japanese term for the Tokyo/Yokohama area.)
The series is premiering on SoftBank mobile phone network in Japan on January 14, and later in the week on KDDI's au and NTT's docomo phone networks. The television broadcaster TVK will air the series on January 23. Hakuhodo DY Media Partners and DLE are Toei Animation and Kaeruotoko Shokai's partners in this venture.
