Japanese Animation DVD Ranking, January 6-12

Clannad After Story 2, DBZ Movies 11 & 12, Koihime†Musō 4 debut on top
Hana Yori Dango Final, the theatrical finale to the recent live-action adaptation of Yōko Kamio's Boys Over Flowers manga, sold 12,873 more copies to add to its total of 308,010. It dropped from #2 to #8 in its fourth week on Oricon's top-selling DVD chart in Japan. The standard edition DVD for GeGeGe no Kitarō: Sennen Noroi Uta (GeGeGe no Kitarō : The Thousand-Year-Curse Song), the second live-action film based on Shigeru Mizuki's horror manga, debuted on January 9 at #11 with 9,870 copies sold. The Premium Edition DVD (pictured at right) sold 4,628 copies to rank at #16.
