Aruko restarted manga's run to coincide with ongoing TV adaptation

The October issue (released on September 13) of
Shueisha's
Bessatsu Margaret magazine has
announced that
Aruko will end her
Yasuko to Kenji manga, which she just restarted in July to coincide with the premiere of the television drama adapatation. The next issue with the final chapter will ship on October 11, while the drama version will end this Saturday. The manga originally ran in the magazine from 2005 to 2006. Tokio idol group's
Masahiro Matsuoka stars in the drama as a former gang leader who becomes a
shōjo manga artist, but his violent former self still resurfaces when he tries to protect his teenaged sister.
