TV drama started on Thursday for manga from Boys Over Flowers creator
The September issue (released on August 11) of Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine is bundling a booklet with a new Cat Street manga side story from Yōko Kamio (Boys Over Flowers). "Sekai ga Owaru Wake Ja Nai" (It's Not the End of the World") marks the start of the television drama version, which just premiered in Japan on Thursday. After Boys Over Flowers ended, Kamio drew her original run of Cat Street from 2004 to 2007. The original story revolved around Keito Aoyama, a 16-year-old former child actress who stopped acting after a traumatic incident. She had closed herself off from the rest of the world for years — until she entered a school for "Stray Cats," or outsiders like herself.
