Gothic & Lolita Author to Sign at California Maid Cafe

Photographer Masayuki Yoshinaga will be holding a signing for his Gothic & Lolita book at the re-opening of the Royal/T maid cafe, shop, and art space in Culver City in Southern California. Yoshinaga and editor Katsuhiko Ishikawa published this photo collection of Japan's Gothic and Lolita fashion in 2007. A Japanese-style maid cafe in Toronto, Ontario predated Royal/T, but it closed last November. Another cafe operates in San Jose in Northern California, but only on Saturdays.
