Hawaii Film Fest Screens Appleseed Sequel, Coo, Hokuro

The Appleseed sequel Ex Machina, children's feature Summer Days with Coo, and Katsuhito Ishii's computer-animated Hokuro Brothers Full Throttle are the three anime that were selected alongside about 150 other films to participate in the 27th Annual Hawaii International Film Festival. Kitaro, the live-action adaptation of the classic Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro manga, will screen at the festival as well. The festival will run in Honolulu, Hawaii from October 18 to October 28.
