Game Boy Advance games Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 1 and 2 are set for summer and fall US releases, respectively, according to a press release from Atlus USA. This will be the first time a game from Banpresto, which was founded in 1977 and has produced games for anime including Gundam Seed, Dragon Ball, and Sailor Moon, has been released outside of Japan.
Errata (2005-03-08): Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 1 and 2 will be the first games from Banpresto's Super Robot Wars series to be released in America, but not the first Banpresto games ever to be released in the US. Most recently, Bandai America released Lupin the 3rd: Treasure of the Sorcerer King in 2004.
