Media Blasters Improves Print Quality

Future Media Blasters Manga to be Authored from Original Japanese Printing Material
Media Blasters has announced that, starting with Pilgrim Jäger volume 1, all of their manga will be printed using the original Japanese source material, either the original Japanese printer films or original digital files. "This means that correct bleeds will remain intact and clarity will be amazing," explained Managing Editor Frank Pannone.
The alternative method, which Media Blasters will be forsaking, involves scanning the Japanese printed material and adding touch-ups and translations to the scanned document. The downside to this method is that it ads two levels of degradation to the process, potentially degrading the visual quality of the finished English product.
In order to accommodate this change in their production, Media Blasters has been forced to delay a number of their releases. A new release schedule is as follows:
August - Skyscrapers of Oz
September - Kamunagara 1
October - Flesh for the Beast
November - Pilgrim Jäger 1
December - no releases
January - TBA
Media Blasters expects to release two volumes of manga a month in 2005.
