Lectures on Live action adaptations

Starting Friday, March 5, the New York City-based Japan Society will hold a series of lectures and screenings showcasing Japanese live action films adapted from manga titles. Starting with the 1953 black-and-white "Pu-san", the series will incude a total of eight films, many of them being shown
in the U.S. for the first time.
