Manga artist Shushushu Sakurai to attend third annual yaoi convention
The third annual Yaoi-Con takes place this to be held this coming weekend, October 17-19, 2003, in San Francisco's Renaissance Parc 55 Hotel. Attendance fees are $40 for Saturday, $35 for, Sunday, and $60 for a full-weekend pass.
This year's Guest of Honor is Japanese mangaka Shushushu Sakurai, character designer for the Seikaihouretsuden yaoi game and a frequent contributor to several popular yaoi magazines.
Yaoi-Con 2003 will also feature traditional convention activities and events such as a 24-hour anime screening room, panels and workshops, a Dealers' Room, a Fan Corridor where fans may sell their own art and crafts, a music video contest, a Cosplay contest, and a Saturday night dance.
